Riad Sable Chaud is an ancient 17th-century family residence, located just a 5-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna. Following three years of restoration led by Medina artisans, we opened our doors in 2006 with one core conviction: preserving the soul of the space rather than standardizing it.

Each room required weeks of work: zelliges cut one by one, cedar ceilings carved by master maâlemines, and hand-applied tadelakt in every bathroom. The central patio, with its marble basin and orange trees, has remained untouched since the 17th century.

Today, our team of five hosts fewer than 25 travelers at a time, ensuring every stay remains a distinctive experience. You are not a room number: you are our guest.
